Jim Jefferies

Why see Jim Jefferies?

Comedy Bad Boy Hits The Road

Australian comedian, Jim Jefferies is heading on tour! Regarded as one of the fastest-rising stars in the comedy world, his shockingly charming style has made him one of the most sought-after comics on the world stage. Jim gets away with jokes that most comedians wouldn't touch due to his ability to both charm and offend the crowd in equal measure. He also takes full advantage of his outsider status, bringing a unique perspective to bear on issues such as American gun control laws, as well as aiming his sights on everything from relationships, alcohol and tackling politics.

Give Em What You Want & Son Of A Carpenter Tour

The sharp-witted Aussie is heading on two tours over the next year, his Give Em What You Want Tour and his Son Of A Carpenter Tour. Juggling two different stand-up sets nationwide, it's an ode to the brilliance of Jeffries. Never one to shy away from taboo topics, this new tours will bring a new array of sharp jokes and timely material. His recognisable no-nonsense approach to topics has made other comedians aspire to be as nonchalant as him.

Even better than his Netflix specials

It was a great 2 hour show, with lots of different material. I laughed the entire time, and he really put on a good show. I still can't believe that I can see a comedian from a different continent for just $40, and I can't even afford to see our own home-grown Russell Peters for a decent price. They are both equally as good, and yet one is so much more affordable! ... Read more

It all starts with lactose

Jim Jefferies was as great as we expected. There was never a moment when I thought he was running out of steam. He weaves a 90-minute tale that begins (and ends) with intolerance while taking us on a number of seemingly random side journeys that in fact, make the destination all the more powerful. Truly, he appeals to thinking people, despite the cringe-worthy details of some of his exploits. The irony is never lost on his audience. We loved the show and would see him again without question. ... Read more

Jim doesn’t remember!

I just watched Jim on Kimmel’s show and he says he does not remember this show at all even though he did 2 1/2 hours. This was because he was on a double dose of morphine as he started to pass a kidney stone in Kingston. Very painful but the show must go on! He compares his manager to Col. Parker, Elvis’s ruthless agent. Jim has only good things to say about Canadians, esp. the guy who let him go ahead of him for treatment in the emergency in Kingston (he also compared Queen’s to Harvard). ... Read more
