I hate to be such a grump, particularly when I know how much work went into this production. I felt the choreography did not express some of the more melodic pieces as perhaps it could have with dancers sometimes just walking to the back of the stage.

Lots of missing in foot work, no I a not a dancer, but dancers were not on par it seemed. Polar bears were adorable. Didn’t come off as over professional top Winnipeg Dance CompanyMouse King looked like Goofy from Disney, this year performance was ok.

I was a little disappointed this year to see the ballet, there were a lot of technical difficulties meaning in steps and getting on beat. I did really enjoy the firebird, grandmaster, Arabian, Russian and Chinese dancers and the Big bear. Hopefully they ae able to rehearse more thorough and better next time.
