Violent Femmes and Echo and the Bunnymen Poster

Violent Femmes and Echo and the Bunnymen

August 3, 2017

Milwaukee folk punk meets British post-punk in their first-ever co-headlining tour! Kicking proceedings off in July, Violent Femmes are supporting their ninth LP We Can Do Anything, their ninth LP, which came out in March 2016; Echo and the Bunnymen will be performing material from their 2014 release, Meteorites. With rumours of a further VF album to drop later this year, this is a remarkable opportunity to see two different approaches to punk rock, from both sides of the Pond. So what are you waiting for??

August 24, 2017

Influenced by the likes of Johnny Lee Hooker and Muddy Waters, Rock & Roll hall of famers ZZ Top infuse their classic blues riffs with the spirited, often humorous pursuit of worldly pleasures; look no further for catchy tunes about fast cars, sharp clothes and good times.

One of the giants of American rock, Chicago are still going strong after an incredible 48 years! The self-proclaimed 'Rock & Roll band with horns' produced hit after hit in the 70s and 80s, including the iconic ballad If You Leave Me Now, as well as Baby, What A Big Surprise and Old Days.

Blues rocker Colin James knows a thing or two about reinventing yourself. He first burst onto the music scene as a rock guitarist in the late 80's, going on to record as pop vocalist before turning his hand to Big Band Swing with the Little Big Band. His distinctive, gravel-toned vocals are equally at home on his driving blues anthems as they are on his country-tinged folk material.

Huey Lewis and The News have been defying the rock world for over three decades. The group has since celebrated their 30th anniversary and it's their contagious brand of straight-ahead rock n' roll that has had them selling well over 20 million albums worldwide in the process. These Grammy Award winners were behind the iconic "The Power of Love," that featured heavily in 1985's Back to the Future, as well as "Hip to be Square" from American Psycho.
