Caitlyn Jenner

February 23, 2016

Caitlyn Jenner has led and continues to lead an extraordinary life. She began her journey as Bruce Jenner, gold medal olympian and athlete and joined the now ubiquitous Kardashian clan, before coming out as a transitioning trans-woman, debuting her new name and self in June 2015. Amidst the gossip and the glare of the world spotlight, Jenner is talking at a series of special lectures, giving the audience a chance to glimpse the struggles and triumphs of an empowering public figure and transgender activist.

Heart & Joan Jett and the Blackhearts

March 8, 2016

Two of the greatest female-led rock icons of the 1980s are heading out together on the 2016 Queens of Sheba Tour this spring. Jett was inducted with the Blackhearts into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April 2015, which will be celebrated with this joint tour with the perennially busy Heart, who have seen phenomenal numbers turning out for their concerts.

Leon Bridges

March 15, 2016

The young Texan "Coming Home" singer is going on tour this summer in support of his debut album. The gospel and soul singer harks back to an older time, with a strong emphasis on 1960s rhythm and blues. He has gained national press attention for his work, with The Wall Street Journal describing him as a "throwback to '60s-soul a la Otis Redding and Sam Cooke". He also makes a point of performing in vintage clothing from the era, making his act a true throwback to nostalgic times.

Father John Misty

April 5, 2016

Tall and handsome, with a stage presence that veers between Nick Cave and Johnny Cash, J. Tillman is bringing his latest incarnation, Father John Misty to a town near you this year on the North American leg of his world tour. The one time Fleet Foxes drummer has been steadily releasing solo records since 2004, but it was as Father John that things started to make sense. Conceived after a psychedelic desert experience in the desert deserving of Gram Parsons or one of this Laurel Canyon peers, the sound of Father John Misty is part old school country misery, part retro folk and a whole lot of sardonic wit.

James Bay

April 27, 2016

Hailing from the sleepy town of Hitchin, just outside of London, it's clear that James Bay was made for much grander things - his soulful, gravel-toned vocals and expertly crafted ballads have made waves since 2013 and was hotly tipped by the international music media as one of 2015's ones to watch. Well that prophecy certainly came true. Catch this hugely talented man as he heads out on the road once again.
