Singer-songwriter Kristian Matsson is often lauded as Sweden's answer to Bob Dylan. His gravel-toned, heart-felt vocals and skill with an acoustic guitar evoke the spirit of the rambling planes and open roads of the Americana Folk tradition with a charming Indie twist. The free-wheeling troubadour now heads out on a tour of the US to support the forthcoming release of his 4th studio album 'Dark Bird is Home'.

The gang, including Molly and Gil, are ready to rock 'n' roll but then a member of the band disappears. With the help of Mr. Grouper the pair embark on an adventure, featuring fantastic song and dance numbers, some impressive puppetry and a whole load of audience participation.

Glen Hansard & Aoife O'Donovan

November 12, 2015

There's a chance that even if you haven't heard of this gravelly voiced Irish singer-songwriter, you have heard his music before. After a career that started by busking on the rainy streets of Dublin, he formed The Frames in 1990 and then went on to star in the critically acclaimed film The Commitments, before finding international success in the indie mega hit Once. For the latter, his song 'Falling Slowly' won an Academy Award in 2007. Since then he has continued to tour with The Frames and other band The Swell Season. Now he takes on North America in support of his anticipated solo record 'Didn't he Ramble', due out this September.
